All sludge bisolids and effluent reclaimed water are not created equal.
Tertiary treatment simply means there is some type of additional treatment such as UV light, etc.
None of the treatment options destroy all disease causing pathogenic organisms in effluent or sludge.
EPA does not require a test for disease causing organisms that grow at human body temperature
EPA does not require a test for slow growing bacteria or spore forming bacteria or viruses, etc.
