Subject: Fwd: Revised  PRECAUTIONARY ACTION
SHOULD BE MANDATORY

Hi Pat,
I wanted to say thanks for the tour of the treatment
plant in November. I have written a short piece which
included some of the information on the plant.
I have asked EPA to review it for any factual errors. I
will also ask you to review it for factual errors. There is
one point I failed to  address.
Have you had any
employees who may have, or had, illnesses that
could be attributed to the pollutants in sewage or
the aerosols from sewage  during the treatment
process?
Thanks again.

Jim,
Thanks for the message. I cannot speak for the plant you
toured in November, but we have experienced no
work-related illnesses in the 26 years I have worked at our
wastewater treatment plant. We have work related
accidents which is not unusual in an industrial
environment, but no work-related illnesses. Before I was
assigned a desk, I worked in the field for 17 of those years
including five directly with biosolids BEFORE Class-B
stabilization. I hope this is helpful.
