For the past 15 years EPA has promoted sewage as reclaimed water and biosolds  for use on food crops, lawns and
school ground as the best way to protect public health and the drinking water supply from the dangers of mismanaged
sewage treatment plants and leaking landfills. The results have been disastrous for farmers and public health. The
media have given us a small hint of the problem as reporters generally discuss sickness and death cause by only two
of the coliform bacteria (E. coli and Salmonella) poisoning tomatoes, lettuce, spinach, onions, etc. EPA tends to make
fun of  the reporter's lack of knowledge. EPA writes, "Coliforms are a group of bacteria, most of which are harmless."
"But like police tape and chalk outlines, coliform bacteria are often found at the scene of a crime even though they are
not themselves criminals."  Your health and safety are based on this lie and the lie that some small number of coliform
assures the safety of reclaimed water and sludge biological solids when they leave the treatment plant. According to
the Federal Drug Administration, "A single bacterium can grow to millions in 10 to 12 hours! Water, wind, insects,
plants, and animals can carry bacteria." Rocket scientists says,  Bacillus odysseyi sp. nov., a round-spore-forming
bacillus isolated from the Mars Odyssey spacecraft, "were the most consistently resistant and survived all of the
challenges posed, i.e. exposure to conditions of desiccation (100 % survival), H2O2 [hydrogen peroxide] (26 %
survival), UV radiation (10 % survival at 660 J m-2) and gamma radiation (0·4 % survival)."  Need I say, no one tests for
any type of spore-forming bacillus in sludge or reclaimed water.

The Introduction To Clinical Microbiology, University of Texas - Houston Medical School, describes coliform as the
"Enterobacteriaceae family have earned a reputation placing them among the most pathogenic and most often
encountered organisms in clinical microbiology. They are the causative agents of such diseases as meningitis,
bacillary dysentery, typhoid, and food poisoning."

Having served on a Kansas City, Missouri Committee to evaluate solid waste disposal methods in the early 70s, I had
an idea about the nature of sludge as a solid waste when the City of Kansas City created a sludge disposal farm
adjacent to my wife's family's farm in the late 80s. It became apparent very quickly, that Kansas City could and did
violate the laws and regulations with EPA and State approval. Still do. When it was determined that simply knowing the
law and rules was not enough, I became a researcher. The following papers are the results of 20 years of research. My
first paper Sludge Disposal: Sanitary Landfill-Open Dump-Superfund Site? was published in the Journal of Proceedings
of the New Mexico Conference On The Environment,  in February 1993 -- the same month EPA's fraudulent 40 CFR
503 was published. When EPA declared war on sewage sludge victims in 1994 it was evident public health was at risk.
The book, Toxic Sludge is Good For You, was published in 1995 and hardly caused a ripple in Congress. Congress
simple gave EPA and its partners more money for the war against sewage sludge victims. A book length review of the
National Academy of Science's 1996 report  USE OF RECLAIMED WATER & SLUDGE ON FOOD CROPS  indicated it
was only a matter of time before bacterial food poisoning incidents exploded! In the 1998 book Deadly Deceit we
discussed sludge victims, government betrayal, and public relations efforts to get farmers to use pathogen
contaminated sludge based on lies. In the National Sludge Alliance fact sheets we discussed how EPA subverted the
laws and the science that was available to show EPA's sludge dumping program would kill many of us. What we also
found was that documents without explanation are of little use to the public.

Documentation has been the hallmark behind all of our writing. Since we quote the devils, and good guys,  own words
too often, no publisher could rightfully print what we write. However, as one very smart debate coach once said, "you
kill them with their own words." Therefore,  we (you know one person couldn't develop the data) elected to build a
